Standard Cartridge Seals – NSC

Cartridge seals are self-contained units consisting of a shaft sleeve, seal and gland plate. Cartridge seals are an attempt to overcome the fitting problems of conventional seals.

Specially used in paper industries, petrochemical & petroleum refineries.

• Available as Cartridge seals in Single and Double arrangements.
• Gland plate is often fitted with various tappings to provide flushing, cooling water injection and disaster control.
• Cartridge seals are beneficial as they reduce down-time periods and enable mechanical seals to be installed in hard-to-access places.
• The Cartridge seal unit is fitted onto the Pump Shaft as a built assembly and no further fitting is required.
